The attack underscores the continuing danger to Ukrainian civilians and transport infrastructure amid the war with Russia. Reports said a jet-powered Russian drone struck two trains stopped at a central Dnipro station, with at least 13 to 14 people reported dead and 10 injured. The strike came as officials discussed a local truce in Kherson, creating a sharp contrast between tentative diplomatic openings and ongoing battlefield escalation.
