The attacks represent a broad Russian assault spanning multiple Ukrainian regions, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and Rivne. Reported damage at a university and other civilian locations underscores the continuing threat to populated areas, while the spread of strikes across central and western Ukraine raises concerns about the scale and coordination of the operation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine received no advance intelligence from partners about missiles headed toward Kyiv, highlighting ongoing concerns over warning and air-defense support.
