Ukrainian officials said Russia launched 36 ballistic missiles and 172 drones against Kyiv and 12 other regions overnight, causing new power and water outages.[6] President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the strikes demonstrated Moscow’s approach to negotiations, while Russian authorities reported a Ukrainian drone attack that killed one person in Russia’s Belgorod region.[6] The escalation raises immediate concern for civilians and critical infrastructure as the parties prepare for talks on Tuesday.[6]
