The reported strike is the deadliest major development in current coverage and threatens fragile diplomatic efforts ahead of proposed Ukraine-Russia-US peace talks in Abu Dhabi. Ukrainian officials said at least nine 3,000-kilogram bombs hit the village, while President Volodymyr Zelensky called the attack horrific and evidence that Moscow does not want de-escalation. Details remain subject to verification as rescue and casualty assessments continue.
