The reported attack is among the deadliest single strikes in Ukraine this year. Authorities said the buses caught fire after the strike, while rescuers searched the rubble and worked to determine the full toll. The incident follows additional Russian missile attacks that reportedly killed 22 people the previous day, underscoring a sharp escalation in attacks on civilian areas as the war continues.
