The strike occurred near Kramatorsk in the frontline Donetsk region, with reports indicating that passenger buses were hit and caught fire. Rescue efforts and casualty assessments were ongoing, while wider Russian attacks have also damaged energy infrastructure and contributed to blackouts in Kyiv. The incident comes amid continuing high-intensity fighting and renewed international concern over attacks on civilian transport and populated areas.
