Ukrainian authorities reported that Russian forces were conducting sustained attacks on Kyiv and other areas, while Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces had seized a border village in the eastern Kharkiv region. The strikes came a day after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told the United Nations that Moscow intended to continue its military campaign, indicating that the conflict remains active and that near-term de-escalation has not been achieved.
