The reported airport attack follows several incidents targeting Riyadh within a week and comes amid heightened tensions involving the Houthis, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Saudi aviation authorities confirmed injuries but available reports did not establish the full extent of the damage or identify the weapon used. Trump’s warning that Washington may launch strikes significantly raises the stakes, potentially expanding the conflict and threatening regional air travel and energy infrastructure. Independent confirmation of responsibility and casualty figures remains limited.
