Russia launches mass strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure

The strikes hit infrastructure from Odesa in southern Ukraine to Rivne in the west, intensifying pressure on civilians and the power grid as winter approaches. The attacks follow the bombing of a school used for aid distribution in Komyshuvakha, where at least 33 people were killed. The escalation comes shortly before planned Ukraine-Russia negotiations in Abu Dhabi, raising concern that the renewed diplomacy will proceed amid worsening battlefield conditions.
