Zelenskyy warns Russia is preparing a massive attack on Ukraine

Zelenskyy’s warning comes amid continuing Russian-Ukrainian hostilities and heightened aerial activity. Ukraine’s president did not publicly provide details about the expected timing, target or scale of the alleged operation, so the claim remains an intelligence assessment rather than confirmation that an attack has begun. The warning follows reports of extensive drone attacks and comes as European Union envoys prepare a major new package of sanctions targeting Russia’s military-industrial complex. Any large-scale Russian strike could rapidly increase civilian risks and intensify pressure on Ukraine’s allies to provide additional air defenses, ammunition and other weapons.
