A new United Nations-backed investigation has found extensive sexual violence committed during the war in Ukraine, with the vast majority of verified cases attributed to Russian forces.[12] The report documents over a thousand verified incidents affecting both civilians and prisoners of war, underscoring systemic abuse and potential war crimes.[12][10]
