The reported missile attack follows intensified Houthi pressure on government-held areas, including clashes around Taiz and the deadly presidential-palace strike. Aden is the seat of Yemen’s internationally recognised authorities, making attacks there particularly significant; further escalation could disrupt civilian aviation, deepen regional tensions and complicate diplomatic efforts to contain the conflict.
