Yemen launches major offensive as regional strikes intensify

The announcement follows reports that Saudi Arabia carried out 106 air and missile strikes across Houthi-held areas over 24 hours, including attacks near Sanaa and in Al-Jawf and Taiz. Houthi officials also warned that Iran could target U.S. military bases and American vessels if Washington launches a ground invasion of Iran, while Tehran is reviewing U.S. views on a proposal to cease hostilities and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
