TRUMP ANNOUNCES THREE-DAY RUSSIA-UKRAINE CEASEFIRE BEGINNING MAY 9TH

President Donald Trump announced a temporary three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine starting May 9th through May 11th, coinciding with Russia's Victory Day celebrations. The ceasefire will include a suspension of all kinetic activity and a prisoner exchange of 1,000 prisoners from each country. Moscow had been pushing for this diplomatic agreement.

Moscow Victory Day Celebrations Scaled Back Amid Security Concerns

Russia's Victory Day military parade on May 9th will be significantly pared down due to fears of Ukrainian drone strikes. Military equipment will be completely absent from Moscow's Red Square for the first time in recent celebrations.
