U.S. AND IRAN TRADE NEW STRIKES AS REGIONAL TENSIONS ESCALATE

The United States carried out fresh strikes on Iran overnight, with reports of explosions in Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Qeshm Island, Shiraz, and Isfahan.[5][6] Reuters and other reports say the attacks targeted air-defense, coastal surveillance, and missile sites, while Iran warned of retaliation.[5][6] The escalation follows a string of consecutive nights of strikes and has heightened concerns over shipping and security in the Strait of Hormuz.[5][6]

TEN WORKERS KILLED IN SIKKIM TUNNEL ACCIDENT

Ten workers were killed and several others were trapped after a landslide triggered a gas leak inside a tunnel in Sikkim.[1] Rescue efforts were underway as authorities worked to reach those still inside.

RAHUL GANDHI, PRIYANKA GANDHI HOLD PROTEST OUTSIDE PM RESIDENCE

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra announced a sit-in protest outside the Prime Minister’s residence over the crackdown on students protesting in Delhi.[1][3] Parliament was also adjourned amid Opposition protests seeking a discussion on the issue.[1]
