Saudi shuts key oil pipeline after drone attack amid Red Sea crisis

Saudi Arabia has shut down its vital East-West oil pipeline after it was hit in a drone attack launched from Iraq, escalating risks to global energy supplies and Middle East stability.[4][10][5][8] The closure comes as Yemen’s Houthi forces warn they could further restrict traffic through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, a critical choke point for global shipping and oil flows.[2][6][14]
