Saudi authorities reported that a projectile struck a passenger terminal at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, while the Iran-aligned Houthi movement claimed attacks on additional Saudi airports and oil facilities. The escalation follows earlier deadly strikes and comes amid broader instability involving Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and regional military actors. Reports also indicate that a Houthi missile aimed at southwestern Saudi Arabia was intercepted. The attacks threaten civilian aviation and energy infrastructure and could widen the conflict across the Gulf.[1][3][6]
