Iran warns of retaliation as US allies mull new offensive

Iran has warned the United States and its allies that it will retaliate against any major new attack, saying it has credible intelligence that fresh military action is imminent.[5] The warning comes amid heightened regional tensions, including recent strikes by Yemen’s Iran‑aligned Houthis on Saudi targets that have disrupted energy supplies and maritime traffic.[5] Markets and governments are closely watching for escalation that could further destabilize the Gulf and global oil flows.[2][5]
